Overview


.

Rezzil is looking for a highly capable Office Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our Manchester office and provide dependable operational support across the business. This is a key role in keeping the office running smoothly, ensuring teams have what they need to do their best work, and helping embed consistent, scalable processes as we grow.

.

You will be the operational “centre of gravity” for the office: managing facilities, suppliers, workplace systems, onboarding logistics (in partnership with People/HR and IT), and internal coordination. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a professional, well-run workplace experience.

Key responsibilities


.

  • Office operations & facilities:
    Own the day-to-day running of the Manchester office, including meeting room readiness, supplies, cleanliness standards, and general office experience.

.

  • Contractors & building management:
    Manage relationships with facilities contractors and the landlord/management company (repairs, maintenance, access, security, utilities, inspections).

.

  • Health & safety:
    Support practical office H&S processes (basic checks, fire safety readiness, first aid supplies, incident logging), escalating where appropriate.

.

  • Front-of-house:
    Welcome visitors, manage guest access processes, coordinate meeting logistics and refreshments, and keep the office consistently “client ready.”

.

  • Procurement & vendors:
    Source, onboard, and manage office suppliers; request quotes, place orders, and maintain a clear vendor/contacts list.

.

  • Budget awareness & invoice routing:
    Track office-related spend against budget and route invoices/receipts to Finance for processing, highlighting anomalies early.

.

  • Workplace experience & culture:
    Support team moments that improve culture and wellbeing (onboarding welcomes, team lunches, celebrations, internal events).

.

  • Onboarding/offboarding logistics:
    Coordinate workspace setup, access cards/keys, welcome packs, and the return of leavers’ kit in collaboration with People/HR and IT.

.

  • IT & asset coordination (with IT):
    Coordinate equipment receipt/dispatch, peripherals, loan kit tracking, and help maintain a basic hardware inventory for office assets.

.

  • Office-critical tech:
    Ensure meeting room AV and office equipment remain functional by coordinating repairs and replacements with IT and vendors.

.

  • Continuous improvement:
    Create and maintain simple office playbooks/checklists (supplies, vendors, meeting room standards, onboarding logistics) and drive incremental improvements that reduce friction.

Skills & experience


.

Essential

  • Experience in an Office Manager / Workplace Coordinator / Operations Coordinator (or similar) role in a fast-paced environment

.

  • Strong organisation and follow-through: able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

.

  • Confidence working with suppliers, quotes, orders, and budget tracking

.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including with senior leadership

.

  • High standards of presentation and professionalism; attention to detail

.

  • Strong IT literacy (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, calendars, spreadsheets; comfortable learning new tools)

  • .

  • Comfortable with a hands-on approach and pitching in with day-to-day practical tasks to keep the office running smoothly

Desirable

  • Experience in a scaling tech, games/immersive, sports-tech, or creative production environment

.

  • Familiarity with practical workplace compliance processes (H&S checks, contractor management, visitor/security processes)

.

  • Experience coordinating onboarding/offboarding logistics with HR/IT

.

  • Exposure to asset tracking/inventory processes and office security/access controls

.
